So anyway...
Poor Layla! Last week she fell off the top bunk bed:( Kaine sleeps on the top, and while we were getting ready for lunch one day Layla went into the bedroom and climbed the ladder without us knowing. Then we heard her fall down...the poor little girl:( She was a trooper, though. She cried a LOT for about 20-30 minutes, but after that she was totally fine! Praising God for that...we know it could have been so much worse.
This is soon after the fall. It is kind of hard to tell, but she has a huuuuuge bump on her forehead. It didn't bleed at all, though. Here face swelled up pretty bad for a couple days!
On a much happier note, last Saturday my parents took us to the zoo! It was a lot of fun! It was crazy though...between us and Aaron and Jill, we have 6 kids and we only had to pay for 2 of them! Lots of babies:)
Dad and Layla...poor little girl, she got quite a few looks that day!
Ivy was so cute (as always!) She loved the animals!

Nathan and Daisy. Daisy is just such a sweet girl. She was perfect at the zoo! So good! After looking at this picture, however, I am thinking I should start wearing headbands on her more...she looks so bald!

Layla having fun:) I love her smile!

Aaron and Jill, each with a baby. Also babysitting for all of our strollers and baby gear.

You can see on Halle's face that she is not sure about this...

So goofy:) I can't get them to smile for pictures, they always want to do funny faces!

Me and my cuties:)

Layla was loving the sea lions!

Classic...we had to get a treehouse picture!

Family picture!

Love her:)

by the end of the day, Ivy was so excited to get out of her stroller and army crawl...even if it was just on a bench:)

Jill and sweet little Israel. He was so cute, cuddled up in Jill's wrap all day!

Okay, so that evening we went to Nathan's parents' house for supper and the evening. After supper, we had a fire for marshmallows and smores. It was great! Nathan and Kaine chopped wood together...

Mom held Daisy...

Kaine helped Kyle light the fire...

Nathan "fanned" the flame...(we were all laughing at this...good idea, dad!)

Dad and Halle roasting marshmallows...

It was fun:)

Okay, so fast forward a week. That was last weekend, now these pictures are from last night. We went to the gym for awhile, and I thought I would introduce some of Kaine and Halle's new friends. Here they are (from left): Layla, Griffin, Halle, Kaine and Brendon. They are playing "jail" here, with the soccer goal. Kaine and Brendon are the police:) These 2 boys are getting along great! I am so thankful kaine has a good friend here, with great parents! Definitely an answer to prayer!

Kaine and Griffin are in the same childcare class together, and they get along well, too! I know it looks like Halle is trying to choke him, but she is really just hugging him:)

Then we got out these things that they call "wiggle cars." Aaron and Ivy are trying one out but I don't think she liked it much:) She has been sick this week, poor little girl:(

Kaine, Brendon and Halle in a huddle...they are so cute!

Layla was loving it! (and her face looks so much better now! She just has a slight black eye still).

So there you have it! Sorry about the length of the post...that's what happens when I go so long without time to post I guess:) Hope you all have a great weekend! We are off to a picnic for the whole NTBI campus...should be fun! Hopefully I will remember my camera and I will post some picures (and hopefully it gets done before next week!)
