"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

book recommendation.

I just finished a book on marriage that I would HIGHLY recommend.

You and Me Forever, by Francis and Lisa Chan.

It. is. so. good.

I read it by myself, but I think it would be such a great book for couples to read together!  I would love to read it again with Nathan sometime.  And something really cool is, Francis and Lisa made some videos to go along with the reading, found at www.youandmeforever.org.  The videos are fun to watch, too (if you have ever heard Francis Chan speak, he is really fun to listen to!)

I underlined so much of this book.  I seriously loved it.  The subtitle is "Marriage in Light of Eternity"--and that's what the book is--an eternal perspective on marriage.  So good!  (thanks for recommending it to me, Emily!)

And I love this guy!  So thankful to do life with him.

And now...I need to start packing for our trip to Florida with my family!  We are so excited--family vacations are the best.  But we leave at 6 pm and I havn't packed a thing yet :)  So...have a great day!

I loved how Chan used video clips to enhance his Crazy Love book. I still remember many of his object lessons and i read it years ago. Not using the videos while reading the book is like driving a convertible and never putting the top down. Anyhow, Chan's new book looks very interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.
