"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Moving Day!

Wow, I cannot believe how long it has been since I posted on this thing!  We have been super busy, but I am hoping it will be slowing down around here now.

So, this past weekend we travelled down to Bluffton to help our awesome sister and brother in law move into their new house!  It was a fun day.  They bought a really nice house in the country.  It is a great location, except Jill and I discovered that there are toads outside the house.  She wasn't too excited about that!  So anyway, I offered to take pictures of the moving day, and I think I annoyed everyone to death (including my own husband, who was working hard to install a ceiling fan:) )  After awhile I stared to feel bad, trying to take pictures of the guys as they were lifting heavy furniture.  I think I was in the way, but that's okay.  I wanted my sis to have pictures of their move!

My lovely sis, Jill.  I think she looks so cute, welcoming us into her new home!

My studly husband--this is what he worked on most of the day.  He is very talented and knows how to do electrical things, so he installed a fan for Aaron and Jill.

My beautiful mom and her beautiful mom!  I love this picture! They provided a great lunch for everyone.  Speaking of my mom (and my dad, who I sadly don't have any pics of)...my parents are such amazing help!  I bet I couldn't count the hours those 2 spent out there, helping Aaron and Jill with their new house.  They are always sooo willing to help their kids--we love you, dad and mom!

Look at this handsome guy!  This is my wonderful grandpa.  He is such a cool grandpa:)
Great house, Aaron and Jill!  We'll be excited to come hang out there with you guys:)

Hey, Rache, you are way too kind...we love helping our kids out:) Just thought I'd tell you that snakes are now on the list of things out by Jill's driveway. You think she was not excited about the toad....???

ps, thanks for calling me beautiful (like I said, way too kind...)

Of course its always a bonus when you bring the kids to stay with us.
I'm already trying to fine a real looking rubber snake to put in Jill & Aaron's garage.
Rachel, have fun next weekeend. Nathan, we will see you and the kids - I'll let you know about golf soon.

Great pictures, Rachel! Congrats Jill and Aaron on the new house.

(Rachel, I feel so bad. I never thanked you and Nathan for Friday night. I thanked your parents and then went out the back door. Later, I remembered that I don't even think we said bye or thanks. We had such a fun time and appreciated it :)

Hi Dad:) Thanks for commenting! You should be nice to Jill--real snakes are bad enough!

Sarah--don't worry about it! I seriously didn't think a thing! We had a great time, too:)
