"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Parlor City Trot

This morning we travelled to the beautiful town of Bluffton to participate in the Parlor City Trot.  Or, I should say, Nathan participated--the girls and I watched (while eating fattening food from Hardees!)   Nathan did a great job--I believe his time was 50:08, for the 10k--almost a whole minute better than he did last year!  Yay, Natie!  I was so proud of him.  The girls were, too--they made him signs and everything.  It was so cute.

What a stud!!

One girl even decorated a tshirt (but was too embarrassed to have her picture taken).  We have some loyal Maple House girls!!

Great job running, sweetie!  Maybe some year I will join you--maybe.  :)

Nathan, you did look very impressive(although I wouldn't call you a stud).
You never know, mabey next year I will run with you also. The only problem would be is I'm afraid we might kill ourselves trying to beat each other.
See Ya, Dad S.

Your kiddos are so adorable, those smiles make my heart melt! You two definitely have the a great recipe for cute kids!We were very excited to hear about your mission up at Gateway... We have been praying for you and are so thankful that you are allowing the Lord to use you and your family as great lights and examples to those who desperately need the love of Christ! God bless!
