"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

a daisy date

Last night Aaron and Jill graciously offered to watch our kiddos so that Nathan and I could get our Christmas shopping done.  Nathan had the idea to bring Daisy along with us.  With 4 kiddos it is sometimes difficult to have any alone time with just one of them...especially Daisy because her afternoon is filled with a nap every day!  So he suggested that Daisy go with us on our date, and it was so fun to have her along! (Plus, she is too young to understand that we are buying Christmas gifts for her)  :)

We went to Panera for supper, which was amazing as usual.  Daisy loved it, too!

Here we are, me and Dais:)

And Daisy and her daddy.  (she has a very cheesy camera smile, doesn't she?  :) )

Of course, on a date it is ok to let your one-year old drink her mommy's pop:)

So fun to have a date with Daisy!  Thanks for watching the others, Aaron and Jill!

i bet it was so much fun to just have her along with you. it seems i can be so much more intuned to one child's fun personality when my attention isn't pulled in 3 other directions! glad you had a chance to do this.

How adorable!!! I love that you guys have "alone time" with your kids - very cool and I'm sure it means the world to them as well! :)
