brown county with the mueller fam...



We had a great time on this short trip with Nathan's family!  It was kind of neat to go away at Christmastime...it is not something we usually do. 

So anyway...Dave and Terri took us to the Abe Martin Lodge down at Brown County State Park. We really like this hotel and we would definitely recommend it!  For a state park, it is very nice.  The pool area is a (small) indoor water park.  Our kids have never seen a really big indoor water park, so to them...this is huge!

It was definitely interesting to stay in a hotel room with 4 kids!  We set up 2 pack n plays (one on either side of our bed) and Kaine and Halle shared a bed.  I was a little nervous about the 3 crazy older kiddos waking up Daisy, but with all things considered everyone slept pretty well!

So I guess most of the pictures I took are of the water park!  We all definitely enjoyed that.  For some reason I have a ton of pictures of Halle...and I realized that is somewhat typical.  I was thinking about it, and I think I have concluded that it is because she is the only one who actually likes it when I take her picture!  She likes to work the camera:)

The big favorite with our kids was the slide for sure!  It really was pretty fun.  I took them down on my lap and at first I was a little nervous I wouldn't be able to hold them up at the bottom, because the slide went really fast!

And we just had fun spending time with the family...
