"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Christmas pictures (almost a month late!)

Better late than never, right?  :)
Well, after we retured home from our trip to Brown County, we were ready for Christmas weekend!

We started off with the Yergler fam...

Then on Christmas Eve, we headed to my parents' house for Christmas with these guys...

We always have so much fun at my parents' house for Christmas!  They do such a good job of making the day special.  We usually start the festivities in the middle of the afternoon.  Then after games, supper/dishes, stockings, more games, presents, putting babies and kids to bed, and then more presents...we usually don't get done until close to midnight!  It is great:)

Daisy and Ivy enjoyed playing together...

And  Daisy and Israel did, too!  I love it so much that Daisy has 2 cousins so close in age to her!  Ivy is 5 months older than her and Israel is 4 months younger.  I love this picture of my dad with Daisy and Israel...

One of the highlights every year is the games that we play!  My dad (and mom) make all kinds of games for Christmas...I can't imagine how many hours they put into it.  They are so much fun!

My dad did some games for just the kids...

And a scavenger hunt for the stockings...(this is something my mom has done for years and years.  I can remember me and Jill doing it when we were so little!)

This game was hilarious!  My dad stood on one side of the basement like this...(sorry dad:) )

And then he let each one of us take 10 shots at him with a marshmallow shooter gun!  If we hit his body, it was 1 point, his head was 2 points, and if we got it in his mouth it was 3 points!  Dad, you are so cool:)  T'hat was a very fun game!!

We also had fun opening presents...

Our Christmas weekend was concluded with the Schwartz Christmas.  We always enjoy getting together with that family!

Grandma always loves to hold the babies...

The kids had fun doing a fish pond...

So I know we are more than halfway through January now, but...Merry Christmas!!

I would say there were memories made this Christmas. You know what they say - the more the merrier - and all of a sudden it seems like we have alot more.

Looks like fun, Rachel! The games are so cute! Also, the "waterpark" looks fun- I've heard of Brown county, but we've never gone there. I'll have to look into it!
