Aunt Jenna!! We were so glad to start off our Christmas break with a visit from Jenna. Jenna is doing an amazing job serving the Lord down in Mexico, and we are so glad she is there. The kids that she cares for are so blessed to have Jenna as their "mom"--she loves them so much. But we are also so glad for any time she can come up to visit us! Our kids are always excited to have Aunt Jenna come. It was great to be able to celebrate Christmas with Jenna being there!
The last time Jenna saw Daisy was when Daisy was only about a week old! So Daisy obviously didn't remember Jenna, but she warmed right up to her. Jenna is definitely great with kids:)
Jenna bought Kaine a pogo stick! Right now he is just a tad too light for it, but we are thinking maybe he will be able to get the hang of it this summer. Then everyone at NTBI can expect to see Kaine bouncing down the hallways next fall! I don't think there is a rule about pogo sticks in the hall:)
Halle wanted to try it out...I'm afraid it will be in the very distant future that Halle will be able to do the pogo stick by herself!
We had some very excited girls when these gifts were opened! Halle loooooves to dress up, and Layla just loves to follow Halle:) So again, our fellow 3rd floor neighbors will probably see Halle and Layla walking the halls in these dresses!
Kaine got some legos from Uncle Kyle...legos are his favorite thing right now!
A random picture of Daisy. She is cute as ever! She changed a lot over the past month...getting such a personality, eating different foods, laughing more and more...one thing hasn't changed, though. She is still bald as ever!
Then we went to the Steffen Christmas...
Nathan's dad and Jenna made a pinata for the kids. It was such a great idea! The kids really liked it. Here Grandpa Dave is trying to explain the rules to all the kids.
So we had a great time celebrating Christmas with Nathan's side of the family. For our Christmas gift, Nathan's parents decided to take us all down to Brown County for a couple nights. So that's where we headed next...pictures to come!
