Wedding in Mexico--#3

Part Three:  Beating that Mexico Heat!

One thing I always told Nathan, when we planned visits to CVE:  "Let's never visit there in the summertime!"

We have heard many stories about the intense heat in Magdalena during the summers, so I always thought, why go in the summer when there are many other perfectly good months to visit?

Haha.  Well, when my hubby's sis plans her wedding for the middle of July, we don't have any other choices!  July it is.

But it is VERY. HOT.

It was really okay, though.  And truth be told, I would be fine to visit there in the summer again someday!  It wasn't as bad as I had pictured.  And I have to keep telling myself--Rachel, you are going to live in the jungle someday.  On the EQUATOR. Suck it up!

So anyway, back to the blogpost.  There is a hotel in the town of Magdalena that lets people from CVE use their (very nice) pool for free--whenever they want!  How awesome is that?  

So during our four days that we spent at CVE, on three of those days we all unanimously decided that the pool was a very good plan for the afternoon :)

The pool was awesome, too.  There was a kiddie pool (a huge hit with Daisy and Mili) set right on top of the big pool.  Which was a huge hit for all the kids, because they jumped off of it over and over and over!!

Not surprisingly, the two daddies (Nathan and Adam) were amazing with all the kids!  They piled kids on their shoulders...

Had some hard core games of "chicken"...

Tossed the kids into the pool...

And provided some great entertainment:)

(Mari says, "Oh no you didn't just push my dad into the water!"  She got Nathan back for that one)  :)

There was a shower that the kids loved playing in, too!  They are so silly all together!

What a blessing that pool was to us last week.
