"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Wedding in Mexico--#7

Part Seven:  Adam and Jenna's Wedding

We had loved and enjoyed all of our time at CVE prior to the wedding.  We were very thankful that we were able to come a few days early!  But finally, the wedding day was here--the whole reason we came to CVE in the first place!

We woke up pretty early and got ready for the wedding...my girls were so excited to finally be allowed to wear these dresses to church!  They had been begging me for weeks :)

Nathan and I knew that the church day could potentially get a bit long for our kids, as we knew the church would be kind of hot.  So we had them do a little bit of "church time" in our house before we left (basically, just "sit still and don't talk to each other".  Don't worry, they only had to do it for about 5 or 10 minutes!) :)

The wedding day was a hot one!  I wanted to get a family picture before my girls' hair got messed up :)  I love the cactuses in the background!

We checked out the amazing arbour that Nathan and his dad built.  Didn't they do a great job?  The "Adam y Jenna" sign was made by another guy at CVE, one who is great with welding.  It was made of metal.

Me and my handsome man :)

Well, I was right about the church day.  It did get a bit hot.  But seriously, I am not complaining...it was a beautiful wedding!  Sorry I don't have many pictures of the wedding--I felt a bit conspicuous taking pictures in there :)

LOL!!  I knew our girls' hair would get messed up, but come on Daisy...isn't this a bit extreme?  Ha...she looked like a hot mess.  So sweaty and squirming around...I just had to take her picture :)

After the wedding, we got in line to hug Adam and Jenna.

This little girl's name is Candi.  She is such a fun little girl!  The first time we met her, she was about 15 months old, just like Kaine.  They are the same age, and we have always joked that they should get married someday...that way they would be "Candi-Kaine".  :)

Not a very good picture, but here is Adam and Jenna's family!  We will be praying for them as they adjust to a much different-than-"normal" newleywed life!

Adam and Jenna's kiddos threw flower petals before Adam and Jenna walked out...

Sweet little Mili :)

Awww...love this couple!!

After they left, my girls were in Little Girl Heaven!  Tons of flower petals everywhere!

What a beautiful wedding day.  We were so thankful to be a part of it!

Congratulations, Adam and Jenna!  We are so happy for you guys and for your five sweet kiddos.  So glad for them to have both a mom and a dad now!
